Our 2 DAY KEY LARGO TO KEY WEST BIKE TOUR
is designed for the cyclist wanting to see the Keys at a slower pace than the one day Century Ride. We do these tours every day of the year. Because they are so popular, we do fill these up quickly. We designed this tour to capture a tail wind since the prevailing winds are from the Northeast most of the year. Experienced riders in the Keys will tell you riding south to Key West is the best way to bike the Keys. You can maintain any pace that you desire. These 2 day tours are typically small and personable.
The first day we start in Key Largo and cycle 40 miles to Marathon Key. We will guide you down the Old Highway to do a little sight seeing in Islamorada. You can go to Robbies Marina for some Tarpon watching. On the way, you can stop for lunch or have us pick you up some deli sandwiches and deliver them for you at Anne's Beach. Continue down the Heritage Trail to Sombrero Beach for a swim and a cool down from a long bike ride. What's nice is your belongings are always close by for a quick swim or an item change. On the way we set up 3 drink stops and highlight some of the interesting areas of the Florida Keys. We get you checked into your hotel in Marathon Key.
Day 2 starts with a ride across the famous 7 mile bridge. There is a car ride available for those who don't like bridges. From there just 40 miles to Key West. Again we have cool drinks and snacks waiting for you at designated areas. Some detour to check out the little Key Deer or stop at local art shops. There is a great swimming hole in Sugarloaf or Babys Coffee outside of Key West. Its your pace , we will even give those who get too tired a ride.
Finally a photo op at the USA's southern most point and a cold beer waiting for you.
This ride is 100 miles over flat terrain and bridges with some riding on the shoulder and bike path. It is a moderate degree of difficulty.
The price is $675.00 for the 2 day tour per person. This includes the bike rental, drink stations , snacks, luggage transports, and SAG support vehicles.
Hotels not included in price or lunch. We require a 2 person minimum to run these tours. Great tour for friends and family who want to social distance.
*If you want to spread this ride over 3 days we can add an additional day for an additional fee. A full time bike guide can be provided upon request.
